Should a coach be allowed to grab his players??
#16
This is a topic for trouble making parents and Mommies and Daddies who don't like it when junior is visibly told that he is wrong. Seriously--what kind of topic is this!

Every decent coach in his right mind knows that there is a that CAN NOT be crossed. But there are times when a coach has a right to get a kids attention. But a tug on the jersey helps at times. Should that be done in a derrogatory way--NEVER! But there are not a lot of coaches who do that to begin with.

Also, this just goes to show that basketball tends to be a cry baby sport (meaning--Mommy and Daddy think that they should be able to control everything that a coach does).

You should be complaining more about how basketball coaches think that can yell and scream like a bunch of 4 year olds. (And they often do they directly to a kid as opposed to being constructive). That is a lot worse than grabbing a players arm when he isn't paying attention.
