The pairings for the opening round of the Ashland Invitational Tournament are as follows:
Warren Central vs. Lincoln County
Clark County vs. Pendleton County
Ashland vs. Woodford County
Rowan County vs. Christian County
Rowan County is the favorite to win the 16th Region with Ashland a close second. None of the other six teams are expected to win their respective regions but all are compeitive. It should be an interesting and competitive tournament.
Longtime Ashland sports benefactor, David Payne, will be honored as the alumni of the year. David is most deserving. He is generally known as "Mr. Tomcat" and has contributed greatly to Ashland's success through the years.
