I'm seriously not trying to pick a argument here at all, so I will try to say this in the least aggressive words possible. I do not think Valley will steam roll this region at all over the next 3 or 4 years. Yes they will be very tough, but look at what Betsy Layne and Johnson Central both have as freshmen and softmores. I know referring to grade school is a bit out of character but the softmore class at Betsy Layne did make the KBA state final four and last year's Johnson Central team did make the KBA state championship, and that was the year after Shane Hall. Neither year did Virgie or Dorton go that far, and no disrespect because those were two really good teams. To be honest, I do not see any of Valley's players growing anymore but I can say the same thing about Betsy Layne's players. Lako Daniels is the only one I feel may have a few more inches left in him at Betsy Layne. Plus, Valley did lose, in my opinion at least, the best defensive player they had in this year's freshman class whenever Malenado transferred back to Betsy Layne where his brother graduated. I am not by any means saying Valley will not be tough over the next few years because they will be, but saying they will steam roll the region? That might be a little far fetched. The 15th is about to get very strong over the next few years and any team that comes out of it over the next few years is going to be a lot to handle. Those three are not the only three schools who will be strong, look at teams like East Ridge, Prestonsburg, Pike Central, Sheldon Clark and Belfry. They are going to be tough as well. So all I am saying is no one is going to steam roll this region over the next few years, instead I believe you will see the best all round basketball, from top to bottom, you have ever seen in this region over the next 3 or 4 years.

SV's freshman class played in the KBA final 4 their 7th grade year, losing to eventual champion Wayne County on a last second shot. Last year they made it to the quarter finals losing once again to Wayne County. They also made it to the BCI finals losing to Lex. Catholic. At the KBA Virgie was in the toughest bracket and had to beat Knox just to get out of the first round, the same Knox team that beat JC the year before. BL has also lost a few kids,Daniels is at South Floyd,Chase Hall is at Pikeville and Jarrell is at P-burg. JC lost the Ratliff kid to Paintsville.Things change quickly in the 15th region.
