According to a source in Jamestown, to the best of their knowledge, Jaysean was eligible to play this year so I don't know why this even came up. I do not know what the official reason for his ineligibility, but I would be surprised if it was ineligibility to play in NYS. I know a lot of you maintain that I am a hater but that is not true -- just realistic and in the "second row" as far as information goes. I also heard a story about the reason he was there was for credit recovery. He didn't need to leave NYS for that which makes it look very suspect. The Logan, WV school already enrolled a WNY "transfer" so it might have looked like recruiting to Logan to have 2 "transfers" show up from WNY.

He had plenty of exposure in NYS, the University of Buffalo b'ball coach, Reggie Witherspoon watched him play many times and they are D-1. How come no other D-1 schools are recruiting him? I hate to say it, but he is a liability because as another poster said, he would not be any good to a team sitting on the bench. You still have to be a complete package for D-1: school is part of it. And don't start with shame on J'Town -- they worked really hard to keep him eligible to play but when the season is over, maybe he didn't care. It is always up to the player to be accountable for themselves.

If appealing the ruling turns out in his favor as another poster mentioned, good for him. It would be a shame to have his "senior" year wasted based on promises. Karma can be a b_ _ _ch.

Good Luck to Jaysean in his future with Perry or where ever he may end up at, The fans of Perry would have loved to have seen you get to play basketball in a Region that is well known for High School Basketball. Maybe someone was to blame for this but all we know is the ruling.

We can blame it on HATERS all day long if we want to, but in the long run. No one person from New York that is Mad over him coming is going to cause enough stir to get him ruled Ineligible.

Zaga brought up today a really good point but I will allow him to share it if he wants. I don't agree with Zaga on many things other than on here to cause a stir but, Seems like Jaysean SHOULD have been ruled Eligible. A Parent moving is a parent moving, some may have other explanations as to why he ended up in Perry County but alot of people will read into what Jaysean has said and some of us have even had the privilege of speaking with him about this move. So think what you may, This kid has gotten Screwed out of a great Senior year of basketball. No Matter what Irish thinks, or Zaga, or Ballers thinks (and hes got a direct line to Ms. Cleo!)
