Ive not heard anything on the Melendez kid. Sounds like pretty good size, is he being looked at by anyone?
As far as that goes though, i know the Bell offense better than probably anyone who isnt a Bell fan and i cant bet you money the guard hes lined up on will be blocking him along with the center double teaming him and blocking backside if he turns out to be much of a threat. I see where your coming from as far as the kids being older, but have they ever seen an offense that physical other than Whitley who is not as physical as bell?
One thing about this game is no matter what Lex Cath does, this game is getting played on log mountain. For the first game of the year i expect to see a lot of the Lex Cath kids a little shell shocked, especially if Davenport breaks open a big run early. IMO i think Bell has a better chance of running away with it then Lex Cath does and i could be wrong, but being one of the few that have seen both teams play the past couple of years it seems to me Bell will overmatch Lex Cath in many aspects of the game, and as long as Bell can defend the pass well enough and contain Bolin, they should have no trouble getting the win.

IMO this years Lexington Catholic team will not be shell shocked to be playing on the road. With all the starters LC has returning They have already played plenty of big games on the road at Trinity, St. X, and Boyle. I can see Bell pulling this game out, but IMO it will not be easy. I would really like to come down and watch this game to see how LC looks.
