[Scotty doesn't know]

Same as always, the Reds have one game offensive explosion which helps to give them the title "Best offense in the league." However, at what point do look at the now only the runs produced but the situation and clutch moments that call for those types of production. It has seemed that all year that the Reds have been terribly inconsistent when looking at run production.... When you win a one game 10-3 and then the next night get shutout and then the next night go for one run those extra bursts for runs do not matter. However one of the biggest stats from this year is our average with players in scoring position and bases loaded..... It is simply incredible. Especially for the "best offense" to have so many struggles.
I think it comes to the not having a consistent big time hitter in the clean up spot. Rolen is in no way a cleanup hitter, Bruce and Heisey are 5-6 hitters and Phillips needs to be around the 2 spot. Either way, it was a great win and has now sparked a two game winning streak so come on Reds!! Get it started!
