I would put Ichiro above Roberto Clemente. I know that will make me the bad guy but look at the numbers and the defense. In only 11 seasons, he has done all of that, as compared to 18 seasons for Clemente.

Also, Ichiro has played 10 full seasons and is a 10-time All-star AND a 10-time Gold Glove winner, not to mention also won an MVP. Roberto Clemente played 18 seasons, won 1 MVP, 12 Gold Gloves and was an 12 time all star.

While I see that the numbers favor Clemente, just a hair, Ichiro has got his VERY similar numbers in a lot less time. Ichiro didn't hit MLB until he was 28, so at LEAST 3 years of his prime were gone, if not more.
