Just the response you would expect from someone who realizes everything I said was correct! I'm use to dealing with a simple minded backward idiot who understands nothing about last season. Or probably basketball at all! And I will give you some credit, you did strike a nerve! But I do not enjoy someone insulting myself and my school. Mocking my words is an insult, just so you know! And why are you so set on "handing BL the trophy?" That's the only words you seem to know! And they do not make any sense anyways? Who said that last year? Who has said that this year? This site is about opinions, people come on here and express there opinions. But then we have you, someone who tries to take a innocent opinion and make it an insult. Insults come from hatred and jealously! In your case, I believe its jealously because Betsy Layne beat Paintsville last year in the All A Regional Final and because Betsy Layne managed to do last year what Paintsville was not able to do in 2008! Which to all the other Paintsville Tigers' fans, I do realize you played a Scotty Hopson team that year that was far better then any team Betsy Layne played last year. So please do not take my words as me saying last years Betsy Layne team was better then the 08 Tigers, that is certainly not what I am saying. But as for this past season, I'm not upset about losing the Regional Title. Pikeville was better then us the night they beat us out, cannot change that! However! When I walk into the dome to coach my boys at Betsy Layne grade school, there is a banner hanging above me that says 2010 - 2011 All A State Champs! I'll take that any day over the Regional Championship last year. As for this season, I have faith in our boys! I believe we have the talent to win the region. And as for seeing us this season, you talk like you have the ability to step on the floor and make a difference! You and I are both past our prime! What happens on the floor between Betsy Layne, Paintsville and any other team in the region depends on the boys who put the hard work in. Not what a couple of guys on a website say just because they're butting heads! And I'll go ahead and address your only argument to that statement! I do believe our boys have the talent to be the best team in the region but I'm not going to come on here and make some bold statement saying they will! Its not right or fair for me to say something like that when I am not the one having to back up the words! So by all means, go ahead and say something about me being scared because my words make it sound like I'm worried about playing Paintsville next year. I'm not, because this game taught me a long time ago that any team can beat any other team on any given night! But I am not going to say something that others will take personal and cause them to say things in response about me and my school. And then have that escalate into myself and others from my school saying things in return. This site was not designed for that purpose and creating a war of words is pointless. With that said, I am not going to waste anymore time on addressing anything you have to say because you have proven twice now that your opinion is not one backed by knowledge of the game but ugly human emotion! Your words are not chosen by intelligent thought but a childish nature of a young immature teenager. So best of luck to all the teams in the region this year! May the best team win!

Don't get me wrong what BL did winning the all a state tourny was certainly a moment that they should be proud of, but in saying that I do not believe it is up there with being a regional champion and playing in Rupp as one of the best 16 teams in the entire state. McBrayer is not and never will be Rupp. The caliber of team in the All A and in the sweet 16 is very different.....look how many teams BL beat in the All with losing records. Its a great acomplishment but not the ultimate pride. Ask those kids which one they would have rather went to and you'll hear the sweet 16. Every coach coaches for the big one in Lexington....I understand you taking up for your school but no way would I compare the all a state championship with an appearence at Rupp....that is a stretch.
