I hope Rhodes does well at Cordia. His hiring will, without a doubt, bring a lot of publicity to the Cordia basketball program and school.

I have been told by an extremely successful high school coach that playing ()or watching) basketball for a lifetime does not prepare you in the least to coach the game. He even went as far as to say coaching basketball is so different than playing basketball that its like they are two completely different sports. He says that someone who has never played the game is equally prepared to coach as someone that has played at a high level for years.
