So what you are saying is Nate should say I'm sorry I scheduled the teams I have scheduled and should give back the wins? You are crazy man, winning breeds success, okay let's play really tough competition every single game and go 3-7 and 4-6 but that is better for us because it will help us in the playoffs? Don't think so buddy, also the score of LCA Fairview in the regional was 23-12 and that was on a late TD from LCA was a heck of game. The main difference between Raceland and other schools is they give NO ONE credit for growing their program. Fairview is now doing things right because of a good administration, good coaches, and good kids that are working hard. Like I have said before I know Nate and he tried to schedule a couple of good teams like Russell and Lawrence but it didn't work out so they play who he can get. Not many people wanna play a good solid single A team and that is what he ran into from what I was told. While I agree with you on the facts, how is it their fault those teams aren't very good. Have you seen what Central has done the last couple of years? They schedule one of the toughest schedules in the state (most teams much larger than them) and go into the playoffs with losing or 500 records and have brought home 2 state championships. You can try every excuse you want, but playing better competition will make you better come playoff time. I do not think you need to schedule like Central, but I do think you need 1 or 2 big challenges to prepare your team. If you want to continue with the current level of play keep up what you are doing now. If you want to step the program up another notch, the strength of schedule is a good start. Look at what a A team like Beechwood does, they play Cov Cath, Highlands, NCC, Simon Kenton, Boone Co., Ryle, and Campbell Co. Yes, they take their lumps, but they are prepared for the A playoffs. Once agian, as a fan of the program, just constructive criticism on how they can continue to improve to even bigger things.
