I apply a pretty consistent standard to politicians and I realize that most of them in both parties lie to get elected. What Weiner did was not your garden variety lying - he smeared other people to try to save his own hide. Weiner launched his political career by anonymously publishing and distributing a racist flier accusing his opponent for city council of being in the pocket of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, shortly following a race riot in NYC. He only admitted to the deed after he was confronted after the election about the incident.

At least you are now acknowledging that Anthony Weiner is a lying scumbag. That was pretty obvious to most of us a couple of weeks ago.
