If you are referring to Vitter, engaging prostitutes is not a federal offense. If it was, the state of Nevada would have some serious explaining to do. Very few crimes should be federal offenses, IMO, but that doesn't make crimes like run-of-the mill murders any less serious.

I really don't care whether Weiner keeps his job or not. New York has shown that it has an endless supply of corrupt liberals dying to take his place - and if he resigns it will be a liberal Democrat who will fill his tiny shoes. If Weiner were my Congressman, then I would be demanding that he resign to spare my district further embarrassment. Liberal New Yorkers are not easily embarrassed regardless what their elected officials do.
