All anyone need do, to understand the nature of what is wrong in general with the party called democrat is recall the statements of those that stood up for Bill Clinton during his dark hours. A lot of those mentioned in this thread with the exceptiion of Mr Weiner made grand standing spectacles of verbocity in support of the president on the floor of the House Judiciary Committee. Some of the other notables were, Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tx), John Conyers (D-MI), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Zoe Lofgren (D-Cal).

There and then was spewed more baloney than any meat packer ever dreamed. During his administration I saw the gentlemen and gentlewomen of the govenment of the United States of America, make a mockery out of the rule of law. In my mind America's legislators proved to an onlooking world, that lying is a means to an end, and subterfuge is a national art form, if not basic issue to the well equipped legislator.

I could never accept any statement any of these folks might make as the truth after seeing them in action then, and over time since.

No disrespect intended for you 23, I have a hard time getting over it when federal legislators can't be trusted to tell the truth. We can't expect to last long as a nation with this type of behavior from our elected officials.
