North jumped out 4-0 in the first. Clay battled back and got it to 4-3 before North stretched it back to 7-3. Clay then took control with a 10-7 lead before North was able to square it at 10. Griffin was able to drive in Corum for the winning run in the 7th. Griffin really needed that big hit to make up for his struggles on the mound during the regional tournaments in his career. Good way for these seniors to go out. They won their 100th game in Tiger uniforms, and their 2nd consecutive regional title. They also were a perfect 17-0 aganist 13th region foes.
