I thought that when Paintsville announced that John Doug was going to be the new coach they had the right guy. I knew that he would bring a well prepared team into the distict tournament whenever that time came around. Baseball players are not born, they are developed. He's been a good friend for a lot of years. Heck of a nice guy and a heck of a coach. Looks like this group has gotten better and better as the season has gone on and has bought into whatever philosophy that he has implimented, which in knowing John Doug that has entailed hard work and discipline. Bob I could not agree with you more. Like you I knew what the results would be following the hire. Fans the best part is yet to come. The timeleness of the hire is most regretable to me. It should have been sooner. But that's life I suppose. I feel real lucky to come out of Inez with a W. Anyone watching the game could not disagree. I love those Tigers and there are no loosers there.
