A Jackson County High School basketball coach has been is suspended after investigators say he had inappropriate contact with at least one student athlete.

School sources say Mitchell Madden coached the Jackson County High School girls' basketball team this past season.

Attorneys won't confirm Madden's name, but do say a coach was suspended pending an investigation, and that he is not allowed on school grounds or to have any contact with students.
