Interesting that this was not decided at the end of the Basketball season to give him a chance then to say goodbye to the players

It was fully his decision.
He said after this season he dicussed the direction of the program with the administration and left the meeting feeling like they were not willing to get behind him as much as he wanted them to. I believe he blames the schools support for the football program for not getting what he wants.
He did do a great job building a program at Whitley the last few years and had some minor success, however, im excited to see who comes in next.
He was also an alum of WC.
