I cant for the life of me figure out how this thread turned into a North Laurel beat down from people not even affiliated with Laurel County sports...

The first two posts from fans of Whitley County putting down Laurel County because of their schedule, yet they know nothing of the program or how it is ran.

As someone who has seen sports in Laurel County for as long as some on here have been alive I can say, nothing will be accomplished in Laurel County until those in charge support the coaches in all athletics.

For the first time since the sixties Ive actually seen and heard of administrators supporting North Laurel Football in all aspects. I think things are going great at North Laurel. Three years ago their stands were empty and since then unlike what someone else said NLs stands are full, they brought three times as many as Corbin last year and twice as many as Corbin at Corbin two years ago. They are supported. So instead of some casual outsiders, no offense intended, posting negative things Id just like to say both football schools are supported well and are on the right track.

Someone keeps saying they NL shouldve kept Knox on the schedule, how do we know they didn't? So what if they are not, only those in charge know what is going on up the hill. So until North Laurel begins beating each of these teams by 60 points please keep to your own school thread or be positive.

What has Whitley done with that tough schedule in the past? Lose a lot of those games and proved to help to better in the playoffs than they wouldve had they not played those teams because I cant remember Whitley County beating anyone they werent supposed to in the playoffs the past several years, at least not after Campbell and Ive watched a lot of tri-city footbal over the years and Corbin if far from down, silliest comment on here. Whitley County also played in a lower class than North Laurel the past several years and enrollment has everything to do with classification but nothing to do with winning football games.
