There were a few, I think the "first 4" high schools had football in 1893. This would include Louisville Male, Manual, and Owensboro. I don't think Bowling Green started playing until the teens or twenties though. Pretty sure Hopkinsville and Paducah Tilghman were playing football in 1909. Highlands started playing in 1915 I believe. The KHSAA has Somerset football starting in 1907 so I may be wrong but I was pretty sure it was 1909.
