I agree with you, but if you want to be special you'll have to endure long summers and probably will not do a lot of the things that other kids are doing.

Oh I agree completely. Don't get me wrong, I'll put in all the time in the world. I wouldn't mind practicing every day. But I'm a coach, not a teenage kid who has lots of other things going on, including being a kid.

A school submitted a proposal that eliminated 7s during June; it was submitted to the schools to vote on at the annual delegates meeting; and over 2/3s of the school voted in favor of it.

Maybe the schools just wanted to give the kids a break. I don't know exactly why the schools would want it to be like that otherwise. Cut down on transportation costs??
