How did the schools do this? I wouldn't be surprised, I just really do not know.

Although, as a coach, I'm not entirely opposed to it. We already have spring practice. In Indiana, we did not have spring practice, but we could compete all summer long. It sure made for a long summer. It was good, don't get me wrong. But with spring practice and June and July, it seems like you'd really be taking these kids out of their ability to be kids for a while. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with you, but if you want to be special you'll have to endure long summers and probably will not do a lot of the things that other kids are doing.
