The difference would be somerset would have to play on the other teams home field. I can assure you that the gate money would be better for PC and SW playing at home against Somerset than it is from the Ray Correll bowl.

So would Pulaski and Southwestern be willing to split the gate from those games with Somerset? If not, it makes no financial sense for Somerset to do it. If Somerset played one county school in the Correll Bowl each season and the other one on that team's home field then the Jumpers would receive 1/3 of the gate from the Correll Bowl and nothing from the other game while the county school would get that same 1/3 of the Correll Bowl and all of the gate from the Somerset game. As it stands right now all each county team has to do is drive across town, play and get a check for 1/3 of the gate. All of the prep (and there is a lot) is on Somerset. Besides, Somerset's field holds a lot more people and has a lot more parking than either of the 2 county schools.
