Jenkins was playing with only 3 upper classman and got their bats going late in the game with excellent fielding and pitching by senior Alexis Watts. The Lady Cavaliers were leading 5-1 with the bases loaded and only 1 out in the sixth inning when the skies opened up and the officials called all the games and because Raceland was leading 1-0 after the previous inning the victory was given to Raceland. The Cavaliers were on their way to a mercy rule in six against Raceland and Raceland coaches were running to their vehicles to get away with a tainted 1-0 victory because they were getting their tails kicked.
