King Kelly Coleman- One of the greatest players to ever come out of EKY and the stories that surrounded him are ridiculous.

Carr Creek Basketball- Kentucky's version of "Hoosiers"
Pikeville Football during Hillard Howard's Tenure- The tiny 1A school from EKY was Nationally ranked and arguably the best team in the State of Kentucky regardless of class at one point

The "H's" of High School Football- Living Legends Phillip Haywood, Hillard Howard, and Dudley Hilton. Also Mike Holcomb who put Breathitt on the map.

Tim Couch- The #1 NFL draft pick was also the #1 HS Recruit in the country. His home games were an exhibition every time he played drawing National Media, Sports Illustrated, and the most elite collegiate coaches in the country.

Was that the school who lost to Ashland in 1928 and went on to the national tournament and more than held their own in the tournament?

Ashland's 1928 national champion team
Ashland's 1961 state champions which featured Larry Conley, the point guard of the 1966 UK national runner's up, and couple other D-1 players. There is a book about that team.
