You're exactly right. If you are good enough, they don't care who you play for. Division 1 college recruiters aren't going to offer or not offer a kid that because of the name on the front of his jersey.

College recruiters aren't going to look at two kids, both standing 5'11 190, playing RB, both with legit 4.5 40's, 300 Bench, 275 Clean(s), 350+ squads and offer one because, "Oh he plays for Trinity! Sign him up!" and not the other because "He plays for East Jessamine." My guess, is that the one that isn't getting offered, and I'm sure this will hurt some feelings(but honestly typically does) just isn't good enough right now.

If the kid is good enough, he will play Division 1 because Coach Bowlin is definately one of the men out there who does all he can for his players and more. If he doesn't get offered, it sure won't be because film wasn't sent out and contacts weren't made.

I have no idea how good this young man is, personally, I hope he is the next Reggie Bush phenom and he's just flown under the radar, but some don't realize just how dang good you have to be to play Division 1 football. You'd better have a great deal of size, speed, agility, smarts and strength for your anticipated position(s) or at least have numbers through the roof in a couple of those areas, if you don't posses all of them.
