Why would such a die hard Fairview supporter, have the name "RussellPride"?

When Fairview is getting so many new kids each year, it's not difficult to win and to beat up on some of the bigger schools. Yes, Fairview is a small school, but not every school has the luxury of receiving so many transfers that Fairview has received over the past several years. It's easy to win games when you can restock your rosters each year with new players.

Question: How many starters on this year's Regional Final team were 1st year players? I'd say several.

On another note, Yes, Fairview has won some road playoff games and had some success in the playoffs recently, but a lot of that has been attributed to the fact that they haven't had to go play Beechwood, Bellevue, or Newport Central Catholic in the 1st two rounds like years past. The mountain division that your district is paired with now is a much easier road in the playoffs than going to Northern Kentucky every year. So, yes, one would expect you to have a little more success in the playoffs. Williamsburg, Campbellsville, and Lynn Camp are all respectable programs, but no where near the caliber of teams in Northern Kentucky that Fairview, Raceland, and LCA used to have to face in the first three rounds.

Are you building a good program? Yes. Are you winning? Yes. Have you won some playoff games? Yes.

Are you winning with just Fairview kids? No. Are you playing a tough schedule? No. Is your playoff games as difficult now than when you had to go to Northern Ky? No.

I don't think anyone is denying that the coaching staff is doing a good job. But to get on here and blow Coach Mcpeek up the way you do is a little overboard. Not everybody has to drop what they're doing and take notice at what's going on in Westwood, as you so whole heartedly suggest for everyone to do. Build a program. Stay humble. Win with Fairview kids. Schedule a few more better teams and keep your ego in check and then everyone will respect and start to notice the good job that's being done.
