Their district kills them. They're in with all the scrubs which kills them at region because they automatically have to play a good loser (normally North, South, or Harlan Co/Bell). To win the region Knox Central has to beat 3 very good oppenents in 3 nights. That is VERY difficult to do. Look at the last 3 regional champs. Bell had Jackson, South had a weak Harlan Co. team, and Clay had Barbourville. They basically get byes into the semis and don't use any pitching.

With all due respect. I know that was a young Harlan County team along with last years, but you do know that Harlan County beat South that year right? And if memory serves correctly was the only team in the 13th to do so. I get your point though on how Knox is at a disadvantage always having to play a solid loser.
