The Collins girls' basketball team got a much-needed victory Thursday night, beating Moore 49-44.
"We'll take the win, I promise you that, after three losses in a row," Titans Coach Phillip Conder said.
Collins, who once again played without leading scorer and rebounder Aaliyah Wells, led 5-1 at the end of the first quarter, 20-12 at halftime and 31-23 after three.
Junior guard Leeara Cardwell scored a team-high 15 points for the Titans (12-12). Junior forward Rebecca Mouser added nine points and eighth-grade center Mackenzie Raizor chipped in with eight for Collins, which travels to Henry Clay on Friday night.
Sophomore guard Amber Johnson scored 15 points to lead the Mustangs (11-11).
