Holmes was expected to do well this season, so thus far they have underachieved considerably. They still have college recruits on this squad, but they have played far inferior than they have in the past. Rice was a bonafied star in the making, and it has been odd to see such inconsistency so far this season.

As I said in the other thread, Holmes athletes are much different than the type of athlete that Booher is used to and he must learn how to be much, much more than an X's and O's guy to have any success there. I'm not one to say that he is not right for the job, it's way too soon to see, so it's worth being patient to see how the team and coach make adjustments to each other.
