Most of their players are in middle school. It is very odd to see that Shelby County is no longer towards the top of the 8th region. They used to win the region or be in the title hunt almost every year, even when Scott County and Bullitt East were in the 8th region.
I hate to hear that, and that is why I asked. I, like you, are so used to seeing them competitive. KHSAA girls basketball is better when Shelby County is better.
