Had no problem with the kids. The kids were great. I let everyone know that I had never coached baseball before and that I would get outside advice on how to coach the All-Stars, and I did. Did I make mistakes yep, but I do make mistakes and I have learned from them. There is a correlation with how the parents treated Coach Cotton and the way I was treated. That is what I was saying. As far as kids being on the bench, I used every player at one time or another, or so I thought. If I did not I am sorry. I will be the first to admit I did not know much about baseball. I just wanted to coach a team to see if I could learn. And while the All-stars came in 2nd in the District, which is not bad, the team I coached in the regular season won the title.

And I am happy for the kids who are going for their 4th District Title in a row, that is a hard thing to do.
