Being a native Knott Countian, and now living in Boyle for the past 11 years the answer to success is clear - foundation. To build and sustain a winning program it requires building the foundation for success. An earlier poster mentioned their two boys I believe 9 and 11. Are they playing currently? My youngest son started playing flag at 5 and is playing tackle at 8. 11 of the 12 boys in his classroom are all on the team. Third through sixth grade in our county we had 151 dressed players last season that will feed into the middle and high school ranks, all running the high school schemes. This foundation is the reason we have ran off 30 in a row and put boys in college and NFL. That same foundation and commitment needs to be made at Knott to reach the next level as if the boys are starting to play in 6th grade they are already behind the learning curve with other programs.

I think all programs that struggle need to follow the "Boyle Blueprint" as far as running a program.
