The most wins anybody could have expected coming into this season was 3 maybe 4 wins IMO. Maybe Caverna, Adair, and Jackson which they did beat. You look at Green, Washington, Marion, Somerset no way they could have beat those 4. Casey also turned out to be much better than they have been and possibly had the best team in their history, I know isn't saying much but still. They only won a single game, but I think it must have went deeper than Win/lose record IMO. Maybe they felt they were bringing in an offensive genuis and didn't score any points. Or maybe the powers to be felt that the proper improvenments wasn't being made thoughout the season. Also some ppl in community might feel that they fired a coach for winning 4 games a season and replaced him with a guy that only won a game. It takes extremly thick skin to coach at any level in today's time. Like you said it's hundreds of ppl in the stands who feel they know more than every coach on the staff combined. Another trap in think ppl tend to fall into is the "oh they where good in middle school" Once a kid get to high school it takes a commitment to be successful, where in middle school all you have to do is show up. In high school it takes strength and speed training all year to be able to compete at a high level. I still find it very shocking in High School athletes ppl would be willing to get ride of a coach after a single season at the helm and at least not give him time to install his systems.

I do not think it was the fact that they lost so much as the way they lost. Losing to Casey and Garrard Counties by 40+ points, that is just embarrassing. Coach Cotton did not have a chance in TC. People around the TC programs do not take kindly to people they do not know,
