That could very well happen. Taylor County can win their non district games. I think we all know that Coach Cotton not being allowed to even have a full year on the job was not a very good move. He will move on and all parties involved will end up being happier in the long run I'm sure. I know for a fact that he and his staff were doing things 1st class in their first season and offseason up. The worst part about making this sudden change is the program has been set back another year. If I was the next coach, I'd be making dang sure that I was going to be given at least 4-5 years get things going like I wanted.

It will be interesting to see who applies for this job and gets it. This was a sad turn of events all around, and I just hope that everyone involved eventually gets what they are after.
