Went to check out the defending state champs, I didn't see any of them there, however, I was impressed by the younger kids on Valleys team. LCC is a very strong and physical team, but Valley playing with 2 8th graders on the floor most of the night and at times 3 8th graders and a Freshman, they didn't look all that bad. The big kid for LCC is a beast around the goal. Let me say that LCC has a lot of underclassmen also, look for these two teams to greatly improve by next season.
