^ Pro head coaches rarely ever make good college head coaches. Recruiting is a major challenge for them. I really like Marvin, but other than the money he would get at Pitt, I think he would be better served to sit out, be an analyst and take a head coaching job in the NFL later. They man is extremely intelligent, and he was never given the tools to ever be effective. I don't like his clock management and his discipline skills, but if surrounded by quality assistants, he would still make a good NFL head coach.
