Hazard is loaded with talent but the talent level in their district and region has declined. Pikeville is not Pikeville and the other small schools just don't matchup. Look a next year, they will not even face Pikeville until the state semi-finals.

So again, I think the Hazard teams of the past four years were very talented but several of the teams from Hazard's past were better. Those teams faced tougher teams in the district and region.

I would have to agree. People forget that Hazard had some excellent teams under Maurice Dixon and Paul Rains.
