With Central's success as of late, Paintsville will lose out on the better athletes in Johnson co.. It's a no-brainer, If an up and coming kid is a player, he will be at JC.
In all reality imo Central's success has been Paintsville's downfall in football. But JC went out and hired one h#ll of a coach AND THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE in where JC is at and where Paintsville is at now.

Good point. When JC hit rock bottom they went after the best coach they could find after they had made some terrible hires. JC will get the best athletes in the county and I wouldnt blame anyone for sending their kids to that program. Matney treats the kids great and he wins ball games. Can't lose in that situation
