Decline Of Paintsville Tiger Football

Truth is, he could be winning every game and still not satisfy all of Paintsville's " sideline" coaches including his own grandfather. He doesn't stand a chance of building anything until these people get off his back and shut up. His own cousin left PHS to play at JCHS in 2007 and 2008. That tells me a whole lot.
"BUT" t.d. they are not winning. It is not so much the W/L but rather the margins there-of. The direction is wrong (50%,36% and 27%). In terms of players , the last three years Paintsville has had 2-3 kids who have been very capable of all state status. There have been others who could really play the game as well. It is necessary to be taught to Block,Tackle, and Play the big D.
You add proper motivation and hard work and you can have a winner. Then once in a great while you can have that one very special team.No we don't have an abundance of talent, but "Please don't blame the kids".
