i think if i'm not mistaking there have been teams in the past that has forfeit playoff games

Forfeits happen because of 6 classes of football, plus 3 and 4 team districts. Easy decision for a struggling school. Pay a $1,500 forfeit fee or pay out $2000-$3000 in traveling expenses for a three hour bus ride, two meals , bus mileage and driver to get beat by 60. This will continue to happen until realignment is corrected.
