Gotta look at the situation these kids are in. I dont know where this is at, or any other aspect other then that. But history and our society will tell us, if these coaches weren't as rough as they are, those boys would likely have quit and ended on the streets stealing, dealing drugs, or another kind or illegal activity. Even If their methods are different then what us mountain folk are used to, it gets the job done in some way. As I will keep my personal opinion to myself, it's best to at least have an opportunity to succeed then not have it at all and fail.

This is in a very dangerous and crime ridden part of Miami/Dade County. Have you ever heard of Liberty City, Florida? If so, Liberty City is probably where several of these kids grew up.
