a little more information......i have coached teams in this tournament and it is a great tournament. I don't know how much it has changed since i have not been in the last couple of years. Great competition across the board, great atmosphere to play in, and you get to see some really great players. Play one game on friday night...win or lose doesn't determine whether you play winner or loser on saturday on first round. You're playiong to see where you are placed. Starting on saturday morning everything is single elimination. The only bad thing is that some teams can get to sunday with only having to play 2 games and some will have to play 3 games depending on how you play out. Unless they fixed it somehow, there is even chances that you will play teams you have already played in the regular season depending on how you do on friday night and how the tournament is drawn up. Overall though, it is a great experience for young kids and you really get to see how well you stack up against the rest of the state.
