How do schools get to count numbers twice? If you count cumberland, evarts, and whoever else goes in with them to make new harlan how do cumberland and evarts still get to count their own for their perspective school/team. I can understand if two schools make one team and play as one team, but this is a situation where there is no school but a team made up of players from other schools and their getting to count the enrollments of schools that still have teams of their own. Don't new harlan's players attend these schools as well. Just curious how this worked??

Cumberland consists of kids from one school. It's the largest middle school in our county.

Evarts consists of kids from Evarts and Black Mountain Elem.

New Harlan consists of kids from Cawood Elem.,Green Hills Elem. James A. Elementary School, Rosspoint, and Wallins

The enrollment numbers are from the schools listed. This is why Cumberland and Evarts are Div. 1 and New Harlan is Div. 2. There are three middle school teams in Harlan County.
