Dude, the Patriots have a running game that is non-existent. You have a 45 year old running back who should have retired years ago. You have arguably the best QB in the league and arguably the best WR in the league in Moss. Welker is a good receiver, but he's not focused on like Moss is, often drawing defensive responsibilities of Linebackers.


When you look at Cincinnati's offense, you have a QB that, when healthy, throws for 4,000 yards per season. You have Ochocinco who has caught for over 1,000 yards every season except for one since he's been in the league. Terrell Owens who sits 3rd in all-time receiving yards in the NFL. Yes, he is on the decline, but is still a deep threat. Cedric Benson who rushed for almost 1300 yards last year. Overall depth from the offense, give the nod to Cincinnati.

I agree, you may have 2 superstars on your team, but the Bengals have more quality depth. Which tells me there isn't much of a talent discrepancy between the two teams.

We can agree that Brady and Moss are on another level than the other players in question.
Welker is a different breed of receiver. He catches the ball quick and gets tons of YAC.
Welker got a TD on Sunday because they lined up 3 WR left. Two to block and one to catch(Wes). It left Moss all alone on the other side and you can't leave Moss by himself so they are forced to either go a man down on the left or put a Linebacker on a receiver.
He causes problems.
They added Alge Crumpler as a TE.

I myself think Ochocinco is overrated, even though he did play well on Sunday.
I'm not really sold on Benson as he isn't insanely fast or insanely strong either.
Gresham has a lot left to prove and as we know TO has had more luck screwing teams up than making them better.
