The middle school team that I was an assistant on only had one team score on us the entire season. We won the Northern Division of the Bluegrass Conference. The running backs on this team were absolutely awesome. They not only had great size but speed as well. A lot of the players were sons of team members of the state title teams in the early 80's. Surprisingly there was hardly any community involvement and not a lot of people attending the games. After I left and went to Frankfort, I talked to a few of the coaches and was told all but one of the backs quit.

Sad to see something like this happen.
