Your perception about Highlands is wrong, but I like the fact that you think that way. Heck I hope the kids on the team you support think the same way. Let's hope they believe that they can't beat Highlands because Highlands has all these recruits on their team. No team is easier to beat than one that thinks it can't win. So please keep on believing. :thanks:

Do you think there was any Ky. high school football team last year that had 100% of its players that were students in the high school's feeder schools starting in the first grade? In today's transient society, I doubt there was even one Ky. high school that could honestly make that statement. People move for jobs; they move for personal reasons; they move for family reasons; they move for lots of reasons and their children move with him. I'd think it be a safe guess that every high school football team had at least one kid that didn't start in the school system as a first grader.

I am from eastern KY, and I truly believe if we get more involvement from parents and the community, get our kids to really take these sports serious because the day after your last game is not the end of the season, and use our feeder programs the right way, we will have no excuses. I think LCC is doing the feeder program right, but I really think we worry about what our score is in World of Warcraft, Halo, and quit being henpeck to your girlfriends to really take this serious. This can get you free education, and sometimes we think with the wrong brain. I hope teams look at Highlands the right way to run a program successful, and unless they have proof stop with this stupid recruiting crap.
