The KHSAA: Good Organization or Bad??
#14

Generally, these guys/woman are really trying to do the right thing--but it seems like they can't get their hands around everything that is going on. A few more people would do the KHSAA a whole lot of good.

They could easily take some of the older administrators/coaches, etc from around the state and put them in some part time roles as investigators or something along those lines.

I also agree with the points about some of the schools. They are where the mess starts and stops. Maybe it is time that someone holds the superintendents accountable for the actions of these schools. Those guys make way too much money to want to lose any of it.

If anyone should be held accountable it is the KHSAA its self that is the problem.
the schools deligates voted to split the state tourny , the board of control are elected representatives dropped the ball and went in the other direction.
As i said in the past this should have been dealt with years ago.
they (khsaa) should have taken care of the recruiting issue long befor it got to a point that so drastic of an action came about.
I will not point fingers at any particular school but we all know circumstances where players move to a different school, parents get jobs etc, and several times it seems somewhat fishy.
I for one would love to see the KHSAA go back to the old rule of you transfer you sit out one year end of story.
The system is not broken but it has a crack in it.
