How's offshore drilling working out for conservatives now?
The government has now halted dregging operations off the La. The purpose of the dregging was to create a barrier to help protect the shore.

The following comment was made for the article linked below. I think it pretty well sums up the issuse to date.
Let me make sure I understand this correctly…earlier this year, George Soros (one of Obama’s handlers) buys $900.0 million worth of the Brazilian State owned oil company, Petrobras…then, the Obama administration sends $2.0 billion of our tax dollars to Brazil…intended for oil exploration (Brazil intends to drill twice as deep as the Horizon well…can you imagine?)…and not too very soon after that, we experience the worst oil well blowout and environmental disaster in the history of the United States…at which point, the federal government begins to obstructs effort’s to cap the well (declines offers of help from countries all over the world) when it became apparent that BP couldn’t handle it…then, this President (in all his ignorant glory) places a “six month moratorium on drilling”, knowing full well that the moratorium will kill the off shore oil industry in the entire Gulf…then proceeds to shake down BP for $20.0 billion claiming “BP will pay for this” (SHAMEFUL…but not surprising…considering due process was thrown out along with the rest of the US Constitution). Is all of this just coincidence…or, how about this…maybe, just a run of bad luck on the part of BP and Louisiana…or…you fill in the rest. I’m just saying!
