As for who hires the basketball coach, its not the SBDM council, its the school principal. The law on hiring is very specific. After consultation with the SBDM Council, the building principal makes a recommendation to the superintendent, the superintendent MUST ACCEPT the recommendation of the building principal within 10 days.
