The mountain region has a ton of good QB's returning for the 2010 season, with a lot great ones going to be around for a couple of seasons.

Kinna in order, havnt seen everyone of them play, but basing on stats,schedule, and 09' sucsess.

1-Eric Manning - Somerset(14-1) - 2200 yards passing/28 td's - 500 yards rushing/7 td's

2-Zach Eastham- Pulaski Co.(10-4) - 2100 yards passing/24 td's - 900 yards rushing 10 td's

3-Logan Johnson- Letcher Cen.(10-3) - 1700 yards passing/18 td's -1000+ rushing/16 td's

4--Jon Combs - Hazard(9-5) - 2100 yards passing/22 td's - 400 yards rushing/7 td's

I had the pleasure of seeing Eastham from Pulaski in their spring game. That kid is absolutely the real deal. He's the best I have seen come out of Pulaski. I've been around the program for 20+ years. He has put some muscle and has an outright cannon, to go along with his knowledge of the offense. I look for some even bigger things out of him this year.

Logan Johnson will have a even more breakout season. If he can get his receivers to get open and work a little on his accuracy then I think he will be fine. At times last year he was hesitant about when to run it in the spread, but I think first year starting jitters are behind him. I look for the cougars to be right in the midst of the region.

Thank You Barlow, I was just going to say the same thing. Not only did he start but he did a great job. Really good size and arm. He is also a very smart player. Look for him to have a really good year.

Hayden Kiser started every game last season for Lawrence co. and did a really good job, and an even better one when you realize he was a 10th grader.

Jk hall at jchs is a very athletic kid. He really makes four man back field. This will be his second year at the qb spot really looking forward to the season opener.

Tyler Farley from Raceland will have a studly year. Over 2000 yards in his junior campaign. He can play at the next level if he would want to but loves the game of basketball more and hes good at that to. Should be the best qb forsure in the ashland area.

i think logan johnson from lcc will be good next season and bryan casey from east ridge should be good to he had well over 500 yeards rushing and over 300 passing in a run first pass later offense

Somerset's Manning is a great QB. He does have some pretty good talent around him and a huge offensive line. But his poor performance in the state finals was none to pretty. :yawn:

Johnsom will be QB and they will find somewhere for the nephew to play just where dont know Johnson is the real deal and Nephew is also but will be in waiting for Qb for two yrs wait and see!!

If Bell throws the ball more this year Madon will have some very impressive stats. Good sized kid with a good arm.
